BIWA PLANT |
 |
A high- tech industrial diesel engine plant, the Biwa Plant
is responsible for the production of small engines of from
10 to 100 PS. The plant's fully automated, labor saving
production lines are capable of start-to-finish processing,
from machining to assembly and mass production of
multiple models. Our Biwa Plant incorporates an exhaust
gas processing facility and a cogeneration system for
aggressive energy and cost savings, a part of our effort to achieve harmony with the natural environment.

YAMAMOTO PLANT |
Aluminum parts are key to making lighter engines and agricultural machines. The Yamamoto Plant
die-casts key aluminum parts for our products and does high-processing precision machining of
multiple, small lot models. Our development of such world-class technologies as vacuum
die-casting, squeeze casting, and a metal mold local cooling mechanism has allowed us to reduce
the shot cycle to the maximum to produce complex, high-precision parts.

KINOMOTO PLANT |
The Kinomoto Plant produces key parts for the broad lineup of Yanmar engines, from our T series
and gasoline engines to marine engines, and delivers them just-in-time to assembly processes
located overseas in the US and Italy, as well as in Biwa and Amagasaki, Japan. Thanks to the
efficiencies of the YPS, this plant contributes to achieving the quick-delivery and cost
performance that are characteristic of Yanmar engines.

OMORI PLANT |
The Omori Plant is responsible for the production of fuel injection pumps, which requires
ultra-precision machining technology to an accuracy of 0.1 micrometers. Production lines are
divided into machining, heat treatment and assembly areas in order to exercise the strictest quality
control. In addition to its unique quality control scheme based on the Yanmar Production System
(YPS), our experts carefully inspect products at the Omori Plant's Precision Measuring Room and
Quality Experimental Room to assure the quality and performance of the many different sizes of
diesel engines produced there.

NAGAHARA PLANT |
At our Nagahara Plant, we produce fuel injection equipment (FIE) that is perfectly mated to diesel
engines, making them cleaner, quieter and more fuel-economical. Our high precision machining
technology, accurate to the 0.1 micron mandatory for the processing of fuel injection valves - the
key component of a diesel engine in any size - coupled with our abundant processing know-how,
enjoys strong popularity for its unrivalled reliability.
