For people from the Gothenburg area, Marstrand is a retreat. Match Cup Sweden (MCS) is one of the highlights for Swedish people during their precious summer vacation. On weekends, the harbor becomes filled up with yachts from all over the EU countries. The event brings in over 50,000 people. The first week of July during the MCS is a daily party time for the sailors and vacationers.
