Formation of Transaxle Manufacturing Joint Venture with John Deere

 

Officials with YANMAR DIESEL ENGINE CO.,LTD.( “Yanmar” ), DEERE & COMPANY ( “JD” ) , one of the world biggest agricultural machinery manufacturer , and KANZAKI KOKYUKOKI MFG. CO.,LTD. ( “Kanzaki” ), a subsidiary of “Yanmar”, today announced the formation of joint venture that will manufacture transaxles for small tractors and utility vehicles .

Yanmar/Kanzaki currently supplies transaxles from Kanzaki’s Ibuki-plant in Japan and Tennessee-plant in U.S.A.(Tuff Torq Corporation). The new plant will manufacture transaxles initially for JD’s new utility vehicles.

JD’s rich experience in Material Procurements complements our experiences in Development, Manufacturing and Quality Control, and will help build Yanmar/Kanzaki to a new level as a leading manufacturer of transaxles.
