Yanmar established Yanmar Engine (Shanghai) Co.,
Ltd.
Yanmar Co., Ltd has established Yanmar Engine (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.(Y.S.H) in
Shanghai .
Yanmar already had a liaison office in Shanghai in charge of total marketing
.
Y.S.H became independent from the large engine div. previously a division
of the liaison office in order to strengthen the diesel engines business
in Chinese marine circles.
Product lines are propulsion diesel engines and auxiliary diesel engines
that range from 200
kW(272ps) to 3457kW(4700ps).
The new company is in charge of marketing, sales and aftercare of these
engines, and has another function as International Purchasing office
(I.P.O) of materials, parts etc.
At present Yanmar has established 3 sales & manufacturing company,
1 sales company and 1 liaison office in China.
In addition 4 I.P.O’s have been established worldwide.
Concerning with the new Y.S.H., Shanghai liaison office has moved to
the same location.
