| Release of Universal ViO40 and ViO50 Zero-tail Turning Mini Hydraulic Excavators |
Yanmar Construction Equipment Co., Ltd. (based in Chikugo City, Fukuoka Pref. Japan; President Fumihiro Kobayashi) has recently announced that it will release two new models of the Universal ViO series, the remodeled version of the existing ViO series of zero-tail turning mini hydraulic excavators.
The remodeled version has reliability, comfort and safety improvements while maintaining the functions and equipment of the existing models.

(1)Higher Reliability Plus the Functions and Equipment of Existing Models

Use of a New Boom Structure
Shape changes for greater compactness and weld-free structure to
eliminate weak points. |

The plate spring cylinder guard used for bucket and arm cylinders on
existing models is also employed for the boom cylinder of new models. |

3. |
The theft-proof electronic key is standard equipment for the new models. Once the starting key ID has been registered, starting is even impossible with an unregistered key of the same shape. The alarm comes on after five attempts. |

An underside protector protects the side cover and other undercarriage parts from damage during turning and traveling. |

Wrist Lever Control
The use of wrist lever control is mainstream for full-sized machines. It is now employed on these mini hydraulic excavators in this class, too. |

The exhaust blow direction can be changed both sideways and upward to suit the ambient worksite environment. |
