Release of Universal B6∑(Sigma),
the Zero-tail Turning Mini Hydraulic Excavator |
Yanmar Construction Equipment Co., Ltd. (based in Chikugo City, Fukuoka Pref.; President Fumihiro Kobayashi) recently announced that it will release a new model of the Universal B6 ∑ (sigma), the remodeled version of the ∑ (sigma) series zero-tail turning hydraulic excavator, from December 1 st this year.
The new model offers further work convenience in restricted areas, operational comfort and safety, as follows:

Improved Working Convenience in Restricted Areas
Compactness of the implement section is vital for the zero-tail turning excavators used on restricted urban sites The new boom of the Universal B6? makes it possible to keep the implement 35cm lower than previously while maintaining the same deep and distant digging performance.

The clever arrangement of upper structural parts and implement installation position and shape give the operator the equivalent space to that of a small tail turning radius machine. |

In the canopy spec. model, the partition plate on the operator's right has been removed to eliminate the sense of being hemmed in and broaden the range of vision. |

Compliance with International Safety Standards |

The canopy spec. structure complies with the ISO and Occupational Health and Safety Law (Japan) standards for TOPS( Tip-Over Protective Structures ) and FOPS (Falling Object Protective Structure). The structure of the cabin spec. model, too, complies with the international standards. |
