This is to advise of the change in President of Yanmar Agricultural Equipment Co., Ltd.
　The current president, Mr. I. Hioki will assume a new senior advisor role, and his successor will be Mr. S. Abe, currently Executive Vice President of Yanmar Co., Ltd. This will officially come into effect following the 47th Shareholders’ Meeting scheduled for June 19, 2007.

　This change is part of a Yanmar group policy that targets the establishment of a new management structure towards the 50 year-anniversary of Yanmar Agricultural Equipment Co., Ltd in 2011 and the centenary of Yanmar Co., Ltd in 2012.
　The new president will take charge of a strengthened organization, better able to respond quickly to the needs of the global business, by utilizing the unified strength of the Yanmar group.
